Young wins drone at aviation camp

On Feb. 1, Alissa Young (far right) won the drone at the Jim Shaw ACE Academy camp.  She is pictured with Jim Shaw (owner) and Caroline Rice who has been a participant of the camp for the last few years.

The academy will host a number of sessions this year to get youth interested in the field of aviation.  The next ACE Academy Aviation Breakfast and Drone flying event is schedule for March 7 at 8 a.m. at North State Aviation, 4001 Liberty St.  A drone will be given away at each session.  For more information call 336-306-8145 or visit www.shawaceacademy.com.
