Local sorority chapter honors Vice President Kamala Harris

National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Beta Lambda Chapter, showed off their Chucks and pearls as a nod to newly-elected Vice President, Mrs. Kamala Harris. Converse shoes and pearls are favorites of Vice President Harris.

Sorority members describe pearls as symbols of power, class, sophistication, intelligence, purity, grace, elegance and beauty… and the reasons Black women wear pearls.
