Have questions about Medicare? Open Enrollment begins Oct. 15.

The Shepherd’s Center co-ordinates the Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) for Forsyth County. SHIIP is a program offered by the N.C. Department of Insurance.

We assist individuals as they initially enroll in Medicare, as well as with questions or concerns with their coverage. We offer a free monthly Welcome to Medicare workshop for those new to Medicare and assist beneficiaries during Medicare Open Enrollment from Oct. 15 – Dec. 7 each year.
