Princess’ visit thrills little girls during community day event

It’s not every day you get to meet a princess, but last weekend young ladies from throughout the community got that opportunity thanks to Ikulture Chandler, who is reigning Mrs. North Carolina International. On Saturday, July 2, Chandler hosted the inaugural “A Princess Is Coming” Community Day and Altruistic Achievement Awards. During the event held at Blum Park, Chandler honored nine women for their service to communities in need. Chandler also crowned “little princesses” during the event. When discussing the event. Chandler said most little girls dream of becoming a princess and so she wanted to do her part to make that dream come true.
