Making a noise

The Drama Ministry of Union Baptist Church is shown. On Sunday, Feb. 26, as part of Black History Month, the ministry performed Negro spirituals as part of “Make A Noise: The Value of the Negro Spirituals” by Dr. Felecia Piggott-Long, who is in the front row in green in the photo. Speaking of hymns, a Hymn Conference of the Triad, designed to reintroduce the hymns back into the congregations, will be March 27-31 with day and evening classes.
